Anyone can present; these leaders teach and transform. They inspired us with historical and personal examples. But perhaps most important… they provided us time to engage with each other, to apply the ideas to our own goals and challenges. Bravo!

Here are resources for deciding where to put your activist energy.

History tells us that some activist efforts are more effective than others. Why?

“Activism that Works” is a participatory workshop that teaches strategy skills by sharing evidence-based principles and case studies of successful resistance, such as the climate justice, anti-apartheid and Black Lives Matter movements.

Small group discussions focus on how to pressure authorities, how to persuade potential supporters, and how to design creative actions. Participants leave with next steps for their resistance efforts on issues they care about.
